This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as «Policy») describes how your (hereinafter referred to as «you», «User») personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our website or make a purchase using the services of Space Edge Digital UAB (hereinafter referred to as «Space Edge», «We», «Us»). If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. The personal information that we collect is used to provide and improve the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy and our General Terms and Conditions.

As a business, we are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of all individuals with whom we interact. We will process your personal information at all times in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. 

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide transparency around how we collect information on this website.

If we decide to modify the purpose for which your Personal Information is collected and used, we will amend this Privacy Policy.

 

Space Edge may process personal information of Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our Site, or use any of our Services; register on the Service; fill out a form; provide information for passing of anti-money laundering procedures. We also may obtain information about you from third party sources as required or permitted by applicable law, such as public databases, credit bureaus, ID verification partners, resellers and channel partners, joint marketing partners, and social media platforms for purposes of verifying your identity. We obtain such information with a purpose and a legal basis to comply with our legal obligations, such as anti-money laundering laws. From time to time, we may process additional data about client to make sure our Service is not used fraudulently or for other illicit activities. In such instances, processing is necessary for us to continue to perform our contract with you and others, as well as on the basis of our legitimate interest to prevent fraud, money laundering and other illicit activities.

Personal information You provide when signing up for the Services, through the verification process and throughout the provision of Space Edge’s services:

• Full name;
• Date of birth;
• Email address;
• Telephone number;
• Copy of passport/ ID card/ driver’s license;
• Selfie picture or a short video fragment of yourself captured during the verification process;
• Proof of address (utility bill or any other supported document);
• Financial information (including, but not limited to banking statements, crypto wallet addresses, bank account number and other information or documents that may be relevant);
• IP address;
• Web browser type and version;
• Operating system;
• A list of URLs starting with a referring site, Your activity on Our Site;

Any documents containing personal data required to comply with financial regulation such as Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC). We may use this information to confirm your identity and in order to reduce the risks of fraudulent activities via Third Party Services.
 

2. STORING AND PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

The information discussed in this Privacy Policy is limited to personal information that may be used to identify a specific person. This differs from anonymous information, which cannot in any way be used to identify You. All the information we store that may in any way be used to identify you is treated with the greatest degree of caution. Your security is of primary importance to Us. We prevent using all the technology available to Us any unauthorized use, access, leak, changes, or loss to your personal information.

Your personal data will be retained for at least five (5) years after termination of the Business Relationship. To ensure the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data, we take measures reasonably designed to protect that information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

3. PERSONAL DATA DISCLOSURE

Sometimes Your Personal Data may be disclosed to the  third-party services providers. Where necessary or required we may share information with authorities, other companies for internal administrative purposes, companies which we cooperate with and to other third parties, such as third party service providers used in connection with our Services (e.g. various analytical services and financial institutions that we have partnered with to jointly create and offer a product).

Here are the types of third parties we share information with:

• Our partners, who provide identity verification purposes service (client on-boarding, client identity verification, including PEPs and sanctions);
• Relevant government authorities or law enforcement agencies, where such disclosure is required by us to comply with the applicable laws and regulations;
• Banks, credit card companies, and other financial institutions that cooperate with Space Edge Digital OU.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the European privacy and security law. Though it was drafted and passed by the European Union (EU), it imposes obligations onto organizations anywhere, so long as they target or collect data related to people in the EU. The GDPR's primary aim is to enhance individuals' control and rights over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business. The regulation was put into effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR levies fines against those who violate its privacy and security standards.

Space Edge processes Personal Data as a Controller (hence, the Company determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data), as postulated in the Directive and the GDPR:  

• Space Edge, which you as a Visitor enter an agreement with when accessing the Space Edge’s platform as a Visitor, will act as a Controller for Visitors data, as outlined above in “AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERRED INFORMATION SENT FROM YOUR COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE” section. Only the data listed in the aforementioned section would be collected from a Visitor.
• For Users data, as outlined in the “Collection of Users data” section, Space Edge would act as the Controller in accordance with GDPR. The Users Data shall be processed by a third party Processor – Sum and Substance, to collect and process Users’ data on behalf of Space Edge. Sum and Substance is an identity verification company that will process personal data of a User for the purposes of the necessary KYC/AML procedures. Sum and Substance will obtain and process users’ private information in accordance with the section “PERSONAL CONTACT AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION WILLINGLY PROVIDED”, provided above. Sum and Substance is a certified personal data verification company having sufficient experience and technical means to implement appropriate technology and organizational measures in such a manner that processing will both ensure compliance with the requirements of GDPR and protect the rights and the private information of a User.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

Space Edge intend to transfer the collected information we obtain from you only to recipients in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) as per GDRP. Those countries have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information.

The collected information is not be transferred to a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). All data transfers are made in accordance with GDPR, under agreements and include all necessary standard data protection clauses adopted by a supervisory authority copy of which may be obtained by request made to the info@spaceedge.io.

Despite data transfer, Space Edge save all our obligations and liability for any breaching of Your personal data rights by action of our data-processors.

6. COOKIES

Cookies are small files of letters and numbers, which use a unique identification tag and if you agree, they are stored on your device as a result of you using this website or other services we provide to you. Cookies are typically stored on your computer's hard drive, which assigns a unique identification to your computer.
